I arrived home at sea level for the annual Hibernian Polar Plunge - a scholarhip fundraising event - sponsored by Ichabod's Bar and Grill in nearby Sea Bright, New Jersey. The Guinness was flowing before and after some 500 mildly insane do-gooders took a January dip in the Atlantic Ocean, which was an icy 42 degrees Farenheit. At least it was low-tide.
